Does the Serena have underwire? No. The Serena has soft built-in cups that give real support without underwire. The wide straps distribute the weight comfortably across the shoulders without digging in.

How much does the wrap-front cover? The cross-front design drapes over the full midsection. It does not compress or squeeze — it skims the body naturally and smooths without shapewear. Most customers find it gives them more confidence and comfort than a standard one-piece.

Can I adjust how tight the ruching sits? Yes. The side ruching is adjustable — you can pull it tighter for more definition or leave it relaxed for more coverage. This makes the Serena work across a range of body shapes and preferences.

Is the fabric see-through when wet? No. The polyester-spandex blend is fully opaque both dry and wet. The black base in particular holds its colour well in water.

Does the swimsuit stay in place while swimming? Yes. The wide straps and elasticated construction keep the Serena in place during active swimming. The ruching does not shift or ride up during movement.

Will the colours fade after washing? With proper care — hand wash or gentle machine wash, hang to dry — the colours hold well. We do not recommend wringing the fabric or tumble drying as this can affect the print and elasticity over time.

Is this suitable for women with a larger bust? The soft cups and wide straps provide good support for most bust sizes. If you have a larger bust, we recommend sizing up to ensure the cups sit correctly and the straps are comfortable. The adjustable ruching also helps customise the fit around the midsection.
